상품 설명
Begin your private tour by heading towards the Langdale Valley, filled with heritage and farmland. On the way, drive past the famous Lake Windermere and listen to your guide tell you stories about the national park.
Drive through the Langdales and experience spectacular views, including the Langdale Pikes, the most easily recognizable peaks in the Lake District. See Herdwick sheep strolling across the road and laying out in the fields, a fantastic photo opportunity.
Continue to Blea Tarn, a stunning body of water that sits between Little Langdale and the larger Greater Langdale. Admire this hidden gem in the heart of the wild Lake District.
After stopping for a photo at Blea Tarn, take a scenic route to visit Coniston by going through the Yewdale Valley. The Yewdale Valley is bounded by steep, craggy fells and offers magnificent scenery. Nearby, find Yew Tree Farm, once owned by children’s author Beatrix Potter, who purchased the farm in 1929 and left it to the National Trust when she died. You might also recognize Yew Tree Farm from the 2006 movie, Miss Potter.
Coniston is a beautiful village known for Coniston Water and Donald Campbell CBE, who broke the world water speed record of 276 mph. You might also catch a glimpse of a Steam Yacht Gondola, a rebuilt Victorian steam-powered yacht that offers cruises on Coniston Water. Take in the stunning scenery at Coniston before heading to Tarn Hows.
Tarn Hows is another one of the Lake District’s hidden gems. It has been the inspiration for many artists and writers. After admiring the views, head to the final stop, Hawkshead.
Hawkshead is a charming medieval village full of narrow alleys and characterful squares. It is home to a grammar school established in 1585, where the famous English poet William Wordsworth went to school. Overlooking the village on a hill, find St Michael and All Angels Church, which has been there since the 16th century. While in Hawkshead, visit the delicious Hawkshead Relish Company.
