Begin your private tour by departing from Krakow to the ruins of Pilcza Castle in Smoleń. Enjoy a short walk around the castle and explore its inner yards. Admire the stunning views of the surrounding countryside from its dominant tower.
Next, head to the ruins of Ogrodzieniec Castle, the most impressive ruins in the Jura region. Explore the preserved courtyards and relics of the castle, which served as a backdrop for several film productions, including the Witcher series by Netflix.
After visiting Ogrodzieniec, make a break for lunch in one of the local restaurants in Podzamcze (at your own cost), where you can try dishes of traditional Polish cuisine.
Then, drive to the Błedów Desert, the largest inland desert in Central Europe, which served as a military testing ground during WWII. Visit two stunning viewpoints, one in the northern part and the second in the southern part of the desert, both offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Continue to Pieskowa Skała Castle, located in Ojców National Park. Visit its inner courtyard, and enjoy a coffee during the break at the restaurant terrace with a view of the castle and the Prądnik Valley.
While in Pieskowa Skała, make a photo stop at a monumental rock formation called Hercules Club, a must-see for those visiting Ojców National Park.
Finally, reach the heart of Ojców National Park for a walk through the Pradnik Valley, admiring 19th-century spa buildings, until you reach another famous rock formation called the Krakow's Gate. Pass by a famous local trout farm, called "Pstrąg Ojcowski", with the option to try local specialties (at your own cost).
