Poland was once home to one of the largest Jewish communities in the world, and Krakow was a center of this flourishing culture. Its historic Jewish Quarter is a jewel of Jewish art and architecture. It is a place where 7 old synagogues, which surprisingly survived the destruction of World War II and the Holocaust, bear witness to the period.

During our tour, we will discover the historical context of the local Jewish community, talk about the death and destruction of World War II, but also experience the amazing revival of Jewish culture in today's Krakow. Today's Kazimierz, a historic Jewish quarter, is also the cultural heart of the modern city of Krakow and is home to a small but vibrant Jewish community. Podgórze, the area of the former Jewish ghetto from World War II, still tells the story of the tragedy that took place here in 1941-1943.
