상품 설명

A guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau is a deeply moving journey through history, visiting Auschwitz I and Birkenau preserved barracks, and memorial sites honoring the victims of the Holocaust.

A guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau is a powerful and educational journey through one of the most significant historical sites of the 20th century. Located in Oświęcim, Poland, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp stands today as a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and a symbol of remembrance.

The visit typically includes both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II–Birkenau and lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. Accompanied by a licensed museum guide, visitors gain historical context about the rise of Nazism, World War II, and the systematic persecution and murder of over one million people, most of them Jews.

At Auschwitz I, guests walk through original prison blocks that now house exhibitions presenting photographs, documents, and personal belongings of prisoners. The tour includes the infamous “Arbeit Macht Frei” gate, preserved cells, and courtyards that bear witness to the suffering endured there.

The second part of the tour takes place at Birkenau, the vast extermination camp. Visitors walk along the railway ramp where deportees arrived, see the remains of gas chambers and crematoria destroyed by the Nazis, and pass rows of wooden and brick barracks surrounded by watchtowers and barbed wire.

This deeply moving experience is conducted with respect and reflection. It serves not only as a historical lesson but also as a tribute to the lives lost and a reminder of the importance of tolerance, humanity, and remembrance.
