Summer is the perfect time to discover one of the cornerstones of Finnish culture: the sauna. A true way of life, Finns are deeply attached to it and take advantage of this season to spend time in their mökki, traditional cottages nestled in the heart of nature.

We invite you to enjoy this authentic experience in one of these typical Lapland cottages, located on the shore of a peaceful lake. Once there, we'll share all the stories and secrets about what the sauna means for local life – much more than just a moment of relaxation. Between sessions, you can cool off in the pure waters of the lake and fully experience this unique contrast, which is a source of profound well-being.

Here, the sauna is a true institution, deeply rooted in the daily life of the locals. Silence, nature, enveloping warmth... everything is in place to offer you a total immersion in this Nordic way of life. Children (over 3 years of age) are welcome. Contrary to certain misconceptions, there is no problem for them to be in a sauna.

If they don't want to participate, we'll offer them the chance to decorate a gingerbread cookie, an activity that children love. This will also allow you to enjoy the sauna, as both activities take place in the same chalet.

To round off this experience, we will share a food tasting of Finnish products around an open fire, offered by the bakery run by our Finnish family.
