Be welcomed by the farmer and introduced to their reindeer, learning how they are raised, cared for, and why they are central to life in Lapland, while enjoying also the experience of feeding the reindeers yourself.
After the farm visit, sit down for a traditional homemade Lappish dinner, prepared by the farmer’s family using local ingredients. Enjoy one of the most authentic dishes in Lapland: sautéed reindeer meat with mashed potatoes (Poronkäristys ja perunamuusi), served with bread.
Alternatively, you can choose a traditional homemade salmon soup, another local favorite known for its rich flavor and fresh ingredients. For dessert, enjoy a homemade blueberry pie with tea or coffee.
Dinner and Lunch are served inside a traditional old Lappish house, where the farmer will explain the history of the building, everyday tools, and how people lived in Lapland in the past.
