Step into the world of Lapland’s reindeer and visit an authentic family-run reindeer farm near Rovaniemi, where reindeer herding traditions go back more than 200 years.
After pickup in Rovaniemi, travel with your Arctic Safari Guides guide to the farm and discover a way of life that has been passed down through generations. Meet the reindeer, learn about reindeer herding and life in the Arctic, and choose the experience that suits you best.
Choose from three experiences:
⭐ 400m Ride | Standard Experience A perfect introduction to Lapland’s reindeer. Visit the farm, meet the reindeer and enjoy an easy 400-meter sleigh ride. You will also receive your own Reindeer Driving License as a fun memory of your visit. Available at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
⭐ 2.5km Safari | Extended Adventure Experience a longer reindeer sleigh ride through the peaceful, snow-covered Arctic forest. The 2.5-kilometer safari gives you more time to slow down, enjoy the silence and experience the traditional way of traveling with reindeer. Available at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
⭐ 3.5km Safari | Premium Adventure Choose our longest option for an even deeper journey into the Arctic forest. Travel 3.5 kilometers by reindeer sleigh and enjoy more time surrounded by the quiet winter landscape of Lapland. This Premium Adventure is available only on the 2:00 PM departure.
Your ASG guide accompanies you during the experience, and professional photos are included so you can simply enjoy the moment.
Experience Lapland in your preferred language. English is available on every departure. Depending on guide availability, the experience may also be available in Spanish, French, Italian, Greek, Czech, Slovak, or Turkish. When needed, your ASG guide can also assist as an interpreter between you and the reindeer farm hosts, making the stories and traditions of the farm more accessible in your preferred language.
After your visit, relax on the return transfer to Rovaniemi with your photos and memories from one of Lapland’s oldest living traditions.
