Our wilderness lunch is a renowned experience, offering a chance to dive deeper into the world of wild food through observation, flavours and stories. This experience takes place in a traditional Finnish Kota where you get to see the magic of cooking on the fire, hear stories about harvesting wild food and enjoy the flavours of local nature.
Our Wilderness Lunch does not have a fixed menu but presents the chefs vision, making the best out of seasonal ingredients. Our kitchen combines Finnish traditions with handcrafted specialties from around the world.
We serve food that takes care of both your body and mind. Feel the benefits of clean food - handpicked wild herbs, berries and mushrooms, home-made fermented products and probiotic wild drinks presented in a carefully crafted three course menu.
We respect our food and the environment. To minimize food waste we carefully plan each experience and support our local suppliers to celebrate the food from our region.

Know Before You Go: Lunch is prepared and served in a kota, a traditional wooden hut by the lake with a central fireplace. The interior may be slightly smoky, so please keep this in mind. The hut is heated before your arrival, but we still recommend bringing warm clothing.
