No matter what time of year you visit, every season offers new and curious perspectives into the Taiga forest. Spring with its crisp blue skies and icy lakes. Summer's juicy blueberries and lush green forests. Autumn's wild mushrooms and earthly hues shroud the forest. This tour also operates during winter under the name "Winter Wonderland Hike".

When you arrive at the national park you will have a fun, educational and refreshing 2-hour walk through the national park. Walk peacefully into the wilderness to connect with nature and experience true silence like never before. During the hike the professional wilderness guide will tell you about Finnish nature and culture.

As you follow the guide along the pristine trail, you will make your way to a scenic lunch spot by the lake. During lunch break you will have free time for scenic photo opportunities, exploring the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the tranquillity of the Taiga forest. (Dietary needs? After lunch, we will continue to explore the natural beauty of Liesjärvi while walking for roughly one hour making our way back to the starting point. (Total walking distance in this tour is approx. 4.5–5 km.)
We will drop you off in central Helsinki at 4 P.M. feeling refreshed and fully charged from this wonderful nature experience.
