3-DAY PRIVATE UYUNI & ALTIPLANO ADVENTURE
Begin your private 3-day adventure with pickup directly from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Travel toward the Chile-Bolivia border, complete the border formalities, and continue your journey by private 4x4 through the spectacular Bolivian Altiplano.
DAY 1 – LAGOONS, DESERTS & GEYSERS
After crossing into Bolivia, discover the White and Green Lagoons beneath the impressive Licancabur Volcano. Continue through the surreal Dalí Desert and stop at Polques Hot Springs. Explore the Sol de Mañana geothermal field with its fumaroles and bubbling mud before reaching the spectacular Laguna Colorada, famous for its reddish waters and Andean flamingos.
Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a basic local accommodation with a private room and private bathroom.
DAY 2 – SILOLI DESERT & ANDEAN LAGOONS
After breakfast, travel across the dramatic Siloli Desert and visit the iconic Stone Tree. Continue through the high-altitude landscapes to discover the Chiarcota, Hedionda, and Cañapa Lagoons, where flamingos can often be observed.
Admire views of Ollagüe Volcano before crossing the remote Chiguana Desert. Continue toward San Juan, where you will enjoy dinner and spend your second night in a basic local accommodation with a private room and private bathroom.
DAY 3 – UYUNI SALT FLATS
After breakfast, enter the immense Uyuni Salt Flats, the largest salt flat in the world. Visit Incahuasi Island and walk among its giant cacti before exploring the endless white landscape. Stop for creative perspective photos and discover the Salt Eyes, Playa Blanca, the Dakar Monument, and the Flags of the World.
Continue to Colchani to learn about local salt production before visiting the historic Train Cemetery. After completing your Uyuni experience, arrive in Uyuni at approximately 7:30 PM, where your private 3-day adventure comes to an end.
