Begin your morning with a tour at Aalesunds Museum. At 8: 30 we meet in first street of the town: Rasmus Rønnebergs gate 16, the top of Grimmerhaugen, right in the heart of Ålesund. (From here, it’s only minutes to walk to the cruise port, buses, shopping malls, and cafés.)

Discover Ålesund’s fascinating history, including the 1904 city fire. In the exhibit of rowing-boats for fishing, we tell you about our heritage at sea. Hear the incredible story of URÆD, the “egg-shaped” vessel that crossed the Atlantic.

The guide-tickets are including entrance at all of the museum. After the guiding, you can try the simulator of the lifeboat. Here can you also learn about Ålesund’s most famous resistance fighter from World War II. Sit down for a free coffee in the beautiful museum and reflect on what you’ve learned.
