This island belongs to the Giske Commune, pertaining to the famous Giske Saga from the Viking era. Head across the water to the island of Alnes. See views of the Atlantic Ocean as you explore the fishing island. Stop at Alnes Fyr, a local lighthouse with a cafe. Spend some time in Alnes Fyr Cafe, where you can purchase coffee and snacks. The last stop is the Aksla viewpoint. Here you can take in panoramic views of the city and archipelago. You can stop here to have a coffee or something to eat at Fjellstua restaurant. If you wish to go to the city center, you can end the tour at the viewpoint. Otherwise, you will be taken back to the tour starting point.
