If the weather allows, climb a hill 55 km west of the city to enjoy a stunning view from Ørnfløya mountain. Admire the breathtaking island and ocean views by the coast at Sommarøy islands.

Alternatively, hike 25 km west of the city for an easy walk up a hill with a lovely view over two fjords and the surrounding mountains. Or, head 45 km north of the city to hike in the mountains with a lovely view over the sea and all the way to the Lyngen Alps.
