Step onboard a comfortable bus that will take you out of the Port of Måløy and on a beautiful guided tour through the scenic Nordfjord region.
During the drive, your friendly local guide will share fascinating stories and facts about the area, including highlights along the famous Hornindal Lake – Northern Europe’s deepest lake. The bus ride takes approximately 2.5 hours each way, offering plenty of time to relax and enjoy the view.
At Briksdal, you’ll have 2.5 hours to explore. You can either walk the 3 km up to the glacier or buy a ticket for one of the “Troll Cars” that take you most of the way up. It is recommended to take the cars up and walk down for the best experience.
At the visitor center, you can enjoy a delicious cake buffet and coffee – eat as much as you like. You’ll also find a café serving lunch and drinks, as well as a souvenir shop.
From where the Troll Cars stop, there is still a 500-meter walk to the lake in front of the glacier.
