Experience a full-day snowmobile expedition from Longyearbyen through the breathtaking Arctic wilderness of Svalbard toward the remote Isfjord Radio.

Your adventure begins with a safety briefing and introduction to snowmobile driving before heading out across frozen valleys, glaciers, and vast polar landscapes. Following historic Arctic routes, you will travel through some of Svalbard’s most remote and scenic terrain, passing by the historic mining settlement, importan historical landmark along the way, while learning about the history, exploration, and unique environment of the High Arctic from your experienced guide.

Along the route, there will be opportunities to spot Arctic wildlife such as reindeer, Arctic foxes, and seabirds, with regular stops for photos and to take in the silence of the wilderness.

The journey combines adventure, spectacular scenery, and authentic Arctic atmosphere, offering a unique way to experience Svalbard far from the crowds.

**Important – Driving Requirements**

If the booking is made for two participants, one person will automatically be assigned as the **driver** and the other as the **passenger**. The driver must hold a valid driving licence recognised under the **Geneva Convention on Road Traffic**, or a valid **International Driving Permit (IDP)**.

A translated copy of a driving licence is **not accepted**. In particular, Chinese participants must present an **official International Driving Permit (IDP)**; a simple translation of a Chinese driving licence is not sufficient.

For safety reasons, the driver must also be able to **speak and understand English well enough to follow the guide’s instructions and safety briefings**. Participants who do not meet these requirements will not be permitted to drive the snowmobile.
