Longyearbyen: Arctic Photo Safari in Adventdalen & Bjørndalen｜Svalbard and Jan Mayen

Your Arctic photography adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Longyearbyen. Together with your local guide, you will explore the unique landscapes surrounding the world’s northernmost settlement and search for the best photography opportunities of the day.
Unlike a fixed sightseeing route, this photo safari is flexible and adapted to the changing Arctic conditions. Depending on weather, light, season and recent wildlife observations, we choose locations that offer the greatest potential for memorable images.
Travel through the diverse landscapes around Longyearbyen, from wide Arctic valleys and colourful tundra to dramatic mountains, fjords and historic mining areas. Along the way, you will have time to stop, observe and capture the details that make Svalbard unique.
The area is home to fascinating Arctic wildlife. With some luck, you may encounter Svalbard reindeer, Arctic foxes or a variety of seabirds during the summer season. Your guide will share knowledge about local wildlife, nature, history and the challenges of life in this remote Arctic environment.
Throughout the experience, you will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in a small group with a maximum of 8 participants. Whether you are a passionate photographer or simply want to capture extraordinary memories of Svalbard, this tour offers a personal way to experience the Arctic landscape through your own lens.
During the tour, hot coffee, tea, toddy and cookies are provided while you enjoy the surroundings and discuss photography, wildlife and local stories with your guide.
