Visit the taproom of Stadsbrouwerij Middelburg and discover the versatility of local craft beer. During this tasting session, we share the story of our brewery, our beers, and the beer styles that inspired them.
The tasting lasts approximately one hour and takes place in our taproom on Segeersstraat. You will sample five different tasting glasses. Using these beers as a guide, we explain the ingredients, the brewing process, the flavor profiles, and the choices that determine a beer's final aroma, taste, and mouthfeel.
As you taste, you will discover the differences between styles such as blond, dubbel, tripel, and other craft beers. We also briefly touch upon the origins of various beer styles and the stories behind our own beers.
The tasting is informal, accessible, and fun. You don’t need to be a beer expert to join in; the very act of tasting, smelling, and comparing allows you to discover just how much variety exists between beers.
Please note: this activity takes place entirely in our taproom on Segeersstraat. A tour of the brewery itself is not included in this tasting.
The tasting can be booked on Fridays or Saturdays between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. You can choose your preferred time slot within these hours.
