Know Before You Go: Tickets for Hallstatt Skywalk and Salt Mines are optional and can be purchased separately.
Know Before You Go: OPTIONAL: Visiting of Salt-mines. It takes appx. 3,5 hours from the time of your tour in Hallstatt to visit Saltmines. You need to take a cable (to SkyWalk), and then walk uphill for 20 min to reach Saltmines. The tour inside the cave will take 90 minutes and it is a walking tour with a lot of stairs. You are not allowed to interrupt the tour and must follow the guide until the end of the tour. It is not suitable for people with claustrophobia. In total tour takes 3- 3,5 hours. It is not for people with claustrophobia or walking or back health problems.
