Know Before You Go: The hike to the volcanic area is around 2 hours each way. It is not an easy hike but is doable for people of reasonable fitness

Know Before You Go: Pick-up is offered from selected hotels, official bus stops in central Reykjavik and the cruise port. For this, please indicate which cruise port you will be arriving at
Know Before You Go: Due to city regulations, parts of the city centre are not accessible by bus, therefore, you will be redirected to special bus stops if you are staying in these areas.
Know Before You Go: The Reykjanes Peninsula, especially around Grindavík, remains geologically active. While no lava is currently flowing, an eruption could resume at any time. If that happens and certain areas close, this tour will adapt into an active volcano experience, stopping at the best possible viewpoint to witness the eruption—if conditions allow.
