Enjoy a private day trip from Prague to the UNESCO-listed town of Kutná Hora, traveling in comfort with door-to-door service in a modern minivan. Your personal guide will take you through the highlights of this historic town once known for its silver mines and Gothic architecture.
Begin with a visit to the world-famous Bone Church in Sedlec, decorated with the bones of over 40,000 people — one of the most unique chapels in Europe. Then continue to the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady, another impressive UNESCO site just a few minutes away.
Next, head into the heart of Kutná Hora and explore the majestic Cathedral of St. Barbara, a masterpiece of late Gothic architecture. Walk along the scenic Barborská Street, past the former Jesuit College, and admire panoramic views of the town. See the Gothic Stone Fountain and Plague Column, and visit the Italian Court, once the royal mint and seat of kings.
There will be time for a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Prague in the afternoon. This private tour offers a flexible itinerary and expert commentary, allowing you to explore at your own pace without the stress of large groups.
