We begin in Killarney town centre and make our way towards St Mary’s Cathedral. We then enter the world-famous Killarney National Park. Along our route, we get views of Ireland’s highest mountain before travelling by the famous deer parks, where you can see Irish red deer. We then make our way along the shore of Killarney’s largest lake, Lough Leane, meaning ‘lake of learning,’ where monks had a monastery for almost one thousand years. Next, we head towards Ross Castle, once the home of the O’Donoghue chieftain, where we stop for photos. Afterwards, we return towards Killarney, passing Killarney Racecourse before heading back to the centre.
