A screen printing workshop at JANDO is one of the most hands-on, creative and authentic ways to spend a couple of hours in Dublin City. Based in the historic Chocolate Factory building in Dublin City, JANDO is one of Ireland’s best known, independent print studios.

Led by JANDO co-founder, Julie, the workshop takes you through the screen printing process from start to finish. You’ll learn how screens are prepared, how inks are mixed, and how a traditional screen print is made using professional tools and techniques.

You’ll choose your own JANDO Dublin landmark design and ink colours, before rolling up your sleeves and pulling your own prints. Workshops are beginner-friendly with guidance at every step of the way, with all materials provided.

At the end of the session, you’ll leave with your own screen printed Dublin Landmark Print - made by your own hands and ready to hang! It’s one of the most authentic souvenirs you can bring home from Dublin.

  • Know Before You Go: Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty - While we provide aprons, there’s always a chance of ink splashes. Choose garments that you won’t mind getting marked, just in case

  • Know Before You Go: Closed-toe, flat shoes only - For safety and comfort, please wear flat, closed-toe shoes. No high heels or open-toe footwear are allowed in the studio

  • Know Before You Go: Layers are a good idea - Our studio is generally comfortable, but depending on the weather, you may want to bring or remove a light layer
