상품 설명
The meeting point is Brussels main square "La Grand Place." This is an excellent starting point as it was the main market of the city known as the "Nethermarkt." I will explain the geography of the Low Countries, the gouvernors of theses regions, and the economic development with the sheep whool, cereals (beer of course), metals, etc.
Then we walk to most important landmarks of the city centre such as:
Statue of Manneken Pis a symbol of the city Museum of Manneken Pis
Statue of Jacques Brel the belgian GOAT (greastest of all times)
Visit the medieval fortified wall built at the beggining of 13th centuy
Aristocratic neighbourdhood SABLON with its antiques and diamond shops and the gothic church Notre Dame des Victoires au Sablon, and a french style garden Petit Sablon with the Palace Egmont.
Rue Royale (royal street) with a view of the Palace of Justice, the Great Synagoge of Europe, the National Conservatory of classical music, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, and the iconic Royal Square in Coudenberg.
We finish the tour at the Mont des Arts next to the Brussels Central Train Station (Gare Central). Here we will have a panoramic view over the swampy valley of Brussels where we will see in the horizon the 5th largest church in the world and Brussels Chocolate Village. We will talk about two important legacies of the industrial revolution, the metalurgical industry (Atomium, Art Nouveau Arquitecture, Bronze scultures) and the chocolate expertise of the 20th century.

Know Before You Go: Check the weather forecast before coming to the tour, Brussels is half of the year (at least) a cold and humid city, from the last 6 weeks of autumn, the 3 months of winter and the first 6 weeks of spring you will need very warmth clothes and probably a hot drink to stay outdoors during this walking tour. During the warm season end of May until beginning of October it is generally good weather but of course there are some rainy days.
Know Before You Go: I will give you information about my experience on where to go for lunch or dinner if you whish.
Know Before You Go: Recommendations on what else to visit outside the city centre.
