Next, we will visit Sainte Chapelle, built by King Louis IX to house the relics of the Passion of Christ. We will learn about the king's mission to recover the relics and the chapel's construction to house them.

We will continue to the Conciergerie, known primarily as a prison. We will learn about the prisoners during the French Revolution, including the most famous of them, Marie Antoinette. We will see where she last set foot on earth before being executed.

Then we will see the Fontaine des Innocents, a monument that has witnessed all the important changes of the city, from the Middle Ages to the present day, and the miraculous way in which it was saved from demolition.

We will stop at the Eglise Saint-Leu-Saint-Gilles, a place marked by an important symbolic charge for the history of Christianity. This church houses the relics of Saint Empress Helena, mother of the Byzantine Emperor Constantine. We will discover how this fabulous monument has gone through numerous transformations throughout a turbulent history of over seven centuries.

We will see the Tour Jean sans Peur, the last vestige of the Hotel de Bourgogne, residence of the Dukes of Burgundy. We will understand what the living conditions of the powerful were in the 15th century.

We will visit the Auberge Nicolas Flamel, the property of the alchemist who became famous thanks to the Harry Potter series. We will learn about his life, his aura full of mystery, and his legendary occult activities. We will understand him, as he was, with all the aspects of his personality – alchemist, filthy rich businessman, great philanthropist.

We will see the medieval houses on rue Francois Miron and learn how ordinary people lived in the Middle Ages. Discover why they used this construction technique, its advantages and disadvantages, and how they managed to navigate the city before they invented street numbering.

We will see the Hotel Sens, where the Archbishop of Sens lived when he traveled to Paris. Learn about his key role during the Middle Ages, even being an advisor to the king.

We can say that the visit ends with the concrete proof that we can still witness a miracle.
