You'll start your day with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Paris. Our passionate guide and wine expert, who speaks perfect English, will lead you through the beautiful Sancerre region with a freshly baked croissant. Learn the history of this wine region on the way to your first visit. He'll be here to answer every question you might have !
Start your wine journey at a well-known Sancerre winery, where you will explore the cellars, learn about the production process, and enjoy your first tasting of the day. Discover the three mythical terroirs for which Sancerre is famous: Les Calcaires, Les Terres Blanches, and Les Silex. Thanks to the variety of these terroirs, the wines produced are truly different from one another!
Stop at a high-end local restaurant for a true gastronomic lunch made with fresh, local products. Paired with different wines from the region, you will discover the perfect food and wine pairing.
Then discover the last winery! The Sancerre region is very close to other famous French appellations such as AOC Pouilly-Fumé, AOC Menetou-Salon or AOC Côteaux-du-Giennois, so you may have the opportunity to taste one or more of these wines.
By the end of this tour, you'll be a true wine expert! After the last tasting, your guide will take you safely back to Paris, with a drop-off at your accommodation in Paris.
