Explore this dramatic cliffside site where U.S. Army Rangers scaled 100-foot cliffs to disable a German artillery battery threatening Omaha and Utah beaches. The landscape remains scarred by craters and bunkers, preserved to reflect the intensity of the assault. Your guide will highlight the bravery of the Rangers and the strategic success of the mission.

Utah Beach
The westernmost landing site of the D-Day invasion, Utah Beach was more successful and less deadly than Omaha. Learn how effective planning and a bit of luck contributed to its capture with fewer casualties. The site features original German bunkers and informative panels to deepen your understanding.

• Overlord Museum (near Omaha Beach): A rich collection of tanks, vehicles, uniforms, and personal items telling the story of Operation Overlord from both Allied and German perspectives.
• Airborne Museum (Sainte-Mère-Église): Dedicated to the U.S. paratroopers who landed inland before the beach assaults. Located next to the famous church where paratrooper John Steele famously got caught on the steeple.
