Be picked up directly from Bordeaux in a comfortable, air-conditioned hybrid vehicle. During the 50 minute drive to the coast, your guide will tell local stories and give you information and answer your questions about the region, its history, landscapes, and local traditions.
Upon arrival at the foot of the Dune du Pilat, begin a gentle climb and guided walk to the top. The walk is easy and accessible to anyone in good health and includes breaks and storytelling along the way. Once at the summit, be rewarded with an exceptional 360° view: the immense pine forest of Les Landes on one side, the Banc d’Arguin (sandbank) Nature Reserve below, the endless Atlantic Ocean, and of course the inland sea of the Bassin d'Arcachon on the other. This is an absolute must and a memory that will last long!
After sunset, your guide will pick you up to descend the dune and return to Bordeaux, arriving back in the evening with unforgettable memories and photos.
