Chamonix Excursion from Megève｜France

The day will start in Megève with a pick-up from your accommodation. Next, your guide will take you by private van to Chamonix to begin your day!

- First, you'll take the legendary Aiguille du Midi gondola to ascend to over 12,500 feet (3,800 meters). You'll enjoy breathtaking views and a unique experience close to the roof of Europe, Mont Blanc.

- Next, you will take the gondola back down to Plan de l'Aiguille, an intermediate station at an altitude of 7,217 feet (2,200 meters), to begin the approximately 2- to 3-hour hike along the Grand Balcon Nord. This is a magnificent hike offering unforgettable views of the Chamonix Valley and its surrounding peaks. The route is quite hilly and can serve as a crossing point to then reach the Mer de Glace glacier.

- Next, enjoy exploring the summit of Montenvers, which offers a majestic view of the Mer de Glace glacier, its ice cave, and other points of interest. Afterward, you will take the little train back down to the Chamonix Valley.
