Know Before You Go: Admission tickets to the castle are not included. The price of your reservation covers only the guided visit and the listening equipment. How to book your ticket: Go to the official ticket desk (https://www.chambord.org) and simply select "Château" then "Entrée Château et Jardins" (single ticket).
Know Before You Go: Mobility: This tour involves walking, standing for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and climbing the steps of the castle (there is no elevator). I strongly advise you to wear comfortable and suitable shoes.
Know Before You Go: Weather and Temperature: As the castle is constantly open to the outside, there are many drafts and it is often very cool. Remember to wear warm clothes, especially in the winter!
Know Before You Go: Families with children: Pushchairs are allowed on the ground floor, but you will then have to leave them downstairs when we go up to the upper floors.
