I’m inviting you to spend a really sensational day. Probably one of the most beautiful you'll have in Provence.
I'll take you to one of my favorite spots in Gorges du Verdon where I go with my family and friends.
The best way to explore this unique place is to have a boat ride in the canyon, the biggest in all Europe. You'll drive your little private electric boat having a picnic with some local wines. You can jump into the water or just unwind while admiring nature during the 2-hour boat ride on very calm water.
Then we'll stop at a few lavender fields off the beaten path. If you have a chance, you'll be the only one strolling there and taking pictures. Their beauty is really indescribable, even after the blooming period!
The next stop is the perched UNESCO heritage Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon village with its incredible view of the Sainte Croix lake. Free time for strolling or beach time by the lake.
*In case of bad weather, instead of the boat, I'll drive you to the charming Moustiers-Sainte-Marie village.
