Discover the art of authentic Japanese sushi making with our experienced sushi chefs at Tokyo College of Sushi and Washoku London.
Our chefs have years of experience working at renowned sushi restaurants in Japan and the UK, including Nobu London and a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Kyoto.
What You'll Learn
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to make three classic types of sushi:
Hosomaki – traditional thin rolls Uramaki – inside-out rolls Temaki – hand rolls
You'll work with premium ingredients and learn the foundations of sushi making, including how to prepare sushi rice and the techniques needed to make and roll your own sushi.
Our experienced sushi chef will guide you step by step, so no previous experience is required.
What to Expect
1. Learn the Basics Discover the foundations of authentic Japanese sushi making, from preparing sushi rice to handling ingredients.
2. Make Your Own Sushi Follow our chef's guidance as you make Hosomaki, Uramaki and Temaki from scratch.
3. Enjoy Your Creations Sit down with the rest of the group and enjoy the sushi you've made together.
4. Continue at Home After the workshop, participants who provide feedback will receive an online recipe booklet and grocery guide, so you can continue making sushi at home.
