Get hands-on in this honey extraction workshop. Your expert honey harvester will guide you as you uncap, extract, and pack your very own jar of raw honey fresh from the hive. Throughout, learn more about bees, honey, and hive by-products. Taste a range of honeys and enjoy a free drink.
In the custom-built tasting room, spend 1.5 hours learning about how honey goes from hive to jar by getting hands-on and doing the extraction process yourself. Start by uncapping honey frames coming straight from the hive, taking the honey out of the frame using a manual centrifugal extractor, then filter and harvest a small jar of honey for you to take home.
Once you’ve had enough of the sweet stuff, grab some street food from the famous Maltby Street food market, and enjoy it over a beer in the Taproom while making a plan for the rest of your day.
