Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in London, the Dover Cruise Terminal or any London Airport. Head to Leeds Castle, a stunning castle with a history spanning over 900 years. Occupied as recently as 1974 by the family of New York socialite Lady Olive Baillie. Explore the castle, grounds, and gardens, and learn about its transformation from a Norman stronghold in the 1100's to a royal palace and residence for six English queens.

Next, you will have the option to travel to a traditional English pub for lunch. Enjoy some famous 'pub grub' and a pint before continuing your journey. Sample menus can be supplied in advance if required. Alternatively, we can dine at one of the many cafes at the attractions.

In the afternoon, visit Chartwell, the former home of Sir Winston Churchill set in beautiful park grounds with stunning views over the Weald of Kent. Explore the house, which has been left almost untouched since Churchill's death, and see a cigar still nestled in the ashtray on his desk. Tour the 'Rose Garden' and 'Walled Garden', and visit Churchill's studio.

During the trip you will travel through the beautiful Kent countryside, known as the Garden of England, with the opportunity to stop at historic villages and travel through ancient farmlands.

Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to point out and provide the history of multiple sites and locations.

All access tickets to Leeds Castle & Chartwell included.

After your visit, return to your London hotel, cruise terminal or any London Airport.
