Delve deeper into the whisky-making process at Scotland's most beautiful distillery. It is located just 14 miles from Glasgow and is home of award-winning Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Whisky.
Your experience will begin with a guided tour of our traditional working distillery, where you'll see each stage of whisky production, from the journey our spirit makes through the mashtun and washbacks to the swan-necks of our copper pot stills. In the No.1 Warehouse, learn about the difference the wood makes to the spirit and how it deepens and intensifies in colour over the years.
And then for the tasting… in the comfort of Burnfoot Lodge, overlooking the beautiful waterfall and glen, you’ll be served a dram of each of two specially selected Glengoyne Highland Single Malt whiskies. This is a tutored tasting of the Glengoyne 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt, and the Glengoyne 15 Year Old Highland Single Malt.
Children are welcome on the Glengoyne Tour and Tasting, but we are a working distillery and under 18s must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Know Before You Go: The distillery is located just 40 minutes from Glasgow, 30 minutes from Stirling and Loch Lomond and just over 1 hour from Edinburgh. You can take the no.10 bus directly from Glasgow city centre to the gates of Glengoyne Distillery
