Enjoy up to 3 hours of relaxed, hosted pottery and wood painting in our friendly Exmouth creative studio. Hugely popular with adults as well as families, it’s a fun indoor activity for couples, friends, solo visitors and families looking for something a little different to do in Exmouth.
Your £5 reservation secures your place and includes a hot or cold drink, biscuits and use of the paints, brushes and other painting materials you’ll need during your session.
When you arrive, choose the item you’d like to paint from our selection of pottery and wooden pieces – including our much-loved signature wooden ducks. Your chosen item is purchased separately on the day, with items typically priced from £12–£35.
No artistic experience is needed. Complete beginners are very welcome, and friendly guidance is available throughout your session.
Best of all, you can take your finished creation home the same day. Rather than kiln firing our pottery, your finished piece is protected with varnish, so there’s no need to return later to collect it – ideal if you’re visiting Exmouth or Devon on holiday.
Arty Boat makes a great indoor, all-weather activity in Exmouth, whether you’re escaping a rainy day, looking for a creative date idea, spending time with friends or adding something memorable to a family day out.
Please note: • Everyone attending must book a place and choose an item to paint. • Spectators and non-painting guests cannot be accommodated due to limited studio space. • Items to paint are purchased separately on the day (£12–£35). • Painting sessions are recommended for ages 5+. • Sessions start and finish at the booked times.
