Blind through the city – a slightly different experience!
In everyday life, we naturally rely on our senses to do their job. But what if this is no longer the case?
In the course of this tour, you will not only learn exciting things about Ludwigsburg, you will also experience in a very special way what it means to not have a sense available. This gentle adventure tour takes you through Ludwigsburg, through time, and through the senses.
During the guided tour, you will deliberately forego sight for several sequences. Sometimes you will be guided (whenever you are wearing an eye mask), and sometimes you will be the guide as a sighted person. My colleague, who has been blind for many years, will accompany, inform, and guide you on a practical level, while I will acquaint you with stories and historical facts about the city and the situation of blind people in the Baroque era.
You will be deliberately guided into small experiential situations, the handling of which will change and possibly sharpen your perception.
You will experience how people dealt with this physical limitation – back then in the 18th century as well as today.
