Depart from Cape Town at 08:00 and travel along the famous Route 62 Wine Route, passing through scenic towns such as Worcester, Wellington and Montagu. Continue via Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo before enjoying a guided tour of the spectacular Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s oldest natural attractions.
Overnight at De Oude Meul Country Lodge or similar.
Day 2 Travel to Botlierskop Private Game Reserve for an exciting open-vehicle game safari, where you may encounter rhino, buffalo, giraffe and antelope species. Continue along the Garden Route to Knysna and visit the iconic Knysna Heads and explore the vibrant Knysna Quays Waterfront.
Overnight at The Russel Hotel or similar.
Day 3 Travel to Robberg Nature Reserve for a scenic hike offering dramatic coastal views, marine life sightings and rugged cliffs. Spend time relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Plettenberg Bay before checking into your hotel or lodge.

Day 4 Travel the scenic Garden Route toward Port Elizabeth. Stop in Jeffreys Bay, famous for its world-class surfing beaches, for a brief orientation tour.
Continue to Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) and check in at The Beach Hotel or similar.
Day 5 Depart for Port Alfred and enjoy a relaxing river boat cruise along the scenic Kowie River.
Continue along the Sunshine Coast to East London for your overnight at Premier Hotel or similar.
Day 6 Travel to Mvezo, the birthplace of Nelson Mandela. Continue to the Nelson Mandela Museum in Mthatha for a guided tour. Thereafter, journey to the majestic Drakensberg Mountains for hiking and scenic exploration.

Day 7 Visit the historic Nelson Mandela Capture Site, where Mandela was arrested in 1962.
