From Miches: Los Haitises & El Limón Waterfall Day Trip｜Dominican Republic

Begin your adventure with pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Miches. Travel toward the Los Haitises area, where the scenery changes from beach hotels and coastal roads to tropical countryside, mountains, mangroves, and beautiful bay views.

Arrive at Los Haitises National Park, one of the most important protected areas in the Dominican Republic. This park is famous for its limestone rock formations, mangrove forests, caves, birdlife, and ancient Taino history. During the boat tour, explore coastal landscapes, mangrove channels, hidden caves, and small islands that rise from the water.

Inside the caves, see ancient pictographs left by the Taino people, the first inhabitants of the island. This part of the tour connects nature, culture, and history in one unforgettable experience.
