From freshwater pools to colorful city streets, discover two unforgettable sides of Puerto Plata with Carlos Tours. This excursion combines the outdoor adventure of Damajagua Waterfalls with guided sightseeing in the historic center.

Begin at your designated cruise-port meeting point and travel to Damajagua. Receive safety instructions and equipment before following your guide on a hike through tropical vegetation. Discover limestone channels, natural slides, and freshwater pools along the route selected for the day. Water levels, weather, and the park’s safety decisions determine which activities are available.

Change into dry clothes before continuing to Puerto Plata. Walk beneath the colorful umbrellas, take your own photos along pink Paseo de Doña Blanca, and discover Independence Park and the surroundings of San Felipe Cathedral. Hear local stories as your guide introduces you to the city’s history and everyday life.

At San Felipe Fortress, enjoy an exterior visit and coastal views; admission inside is not included. Round-trip transportation connects the activities and takes you back to your agreed pickup point.

Bring swimwear, a towel, closed-toe water shoes or sneakers that can get wet, and a full change of clothes. Meals and lunch are not included. Water-shoe rental and professional photo packages are extra. After booking, provide your ship name and arrival and departure times so pickup and return can be coordinated. The order of activities may vary.
