The adventure starts early with a delicious traditional breakfast at our meeting point, where you'll get to know the team and your fellow adventurers. We will then board a vehicle that will take us for approximately 30 minutes to Puente Limón, the starting point of our journey through the majestic Güejar River Canyon.
Upon arrival, you will receive a technical safety briefing, your protective gear (life jacket, helmet, and paddle), and a short practice session before entering the water. We will begin the 17.5-kilometer (10.9-mile) descent, which takes approximately 4 hours, rafting through the crystal-clear waters of the Güejar River, navigating among ancient rock formations, vertical walls up to 30 meters (98 feet) high, natural waterfalls that plunge directly into the river, and a pristine rainforest that envelops the entire landscape. You will also have the opportunity to spot various species of birds and animals.
During the tour, you will encounter class II and III rapids, with sections of pure adrenaline and other calm stretches where you can swim, float, and admire the natural surroundings. You can also see over 10 waterfalls during the trip. You will stop to rest at the Titanic monolith, take photos, and enjoy a snack to recharge your batteries before continuing the tour. There will be a second stop at one of the highest waterfalls on the route.
At the end of the descent, a delicious traditional lunch will be waiting for you, perfect for replenishing your energy. You will return with a tired body, but a spirit filled with adrenaline and wonder.
