You will visit the dedicated Date Market to sample the region’s finest varieties and explore the Pottery and Silver Souqs, famous for handcrafted Omani Khanjars. A true highlight is our exclusive visit to a Halwa workshop, where you will watch artisans stir "Omani Gold" in giant copper pots and taste it while it is still warm.
Moving into the 17th-century Nizwa Fort, we spend an hour exploring its secret trapdoors and towers. Unlike standard tours, you will witness live heritage demonstrations: see local women baking paper-thin Omani Bread over open flames and learn the ritual of roasting and serving traditional Omani Coffee (Qahwa).
The journey then takes a dramatic turn as we ascend 2,000 meters into the Hajar Mountains to reach Jebel Akhdar. We stop at the world-famous Diana Point, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the deep canyons and terraced villages. Here, you will enjoy a high-altitude lunch overlooking the limestone peaks.
Our final stop is the ancient oasis of Birkat Al Mouz. We conclude with a peaceful 30-minute walk through lush date and banana plantations, following the Falaj Al-Khatmeen.
