Prepare to be wowed by this intimate and authentic setting. A 20 minute taxi ride from downtown Muscat takes you to our house in Qalhat, a secluded village (yes, give your taxi driver our GPS coordinates: 23.538141, 58.402706... it's that secluded) at the foothills of the Al Hajar mountains.
You will explore this traditional Omani village in our guided tour, take an easy walk through the scenic Wadi Boucher, and follow an historic Falaj irrigation system. You'll learn all about Omani heritage, village life, and ancient water systems. Then you'll come back to the home and dine atop the rooftop on the expansive terrace, and enjoy a homemade Omani and Arabic dinner in a stunning setting. Experience the sunset over the mountains and palm groves. End your day by relaxing with tea and dessert under the stars or in a traditional Arabic tent.
