On the 1-hour boat tour, visit the Lesendro Fortress, built in the 19th century by the Montenegrin ruler Petar II Petrović Njegoš. Learn how it served as a defense against Ottoman attacks and ensured safe fishing and trade. Or, see the old prison Grmožur, known as the Montenegrin Alcatraz. Hear the legend of the one prisoner who managed to escape using the prison door as a raft.

On the 3-hour boat tour, visit the Kom Monastery, a skilfully polished pearl of master Ivan Crnojević. Learn how ruler Petar II Petrović Njegoš was ordained as a monk here. Or you can see the Monastery of Saint Nicholas in Vranjina, built in the 13th century. Hear how it was burned and destroyed several times during the Ottoman occupation, and how Prince Nikola rebuilt it in 1886.

Or, see the village of Poseljani, once an important settlement with about 15 mills for grinding grain. Today, it’s best known for its beautiful waterfalls and numerous bridges.
