Mindo Night Walk: Glass Frogs, Tarantulas & Chocó Biodiversity｜Ecuador

We will start the sightseeing tour at seven in the evening in Chaquimallana, where we will equip you with rubber boots according to your shoe size, give you head torches, a rain poncho depending on the season in the month of the tour, and a short talk about what we will see at night. We will then proceed in an orderly fashion to the trail to see the famous Amblypygium spider, Esperanza crickets, and Cutin rainforest frogs, stick insects, anoles, tarantulas, and glass frogs. At each of our stops, we'll provide the corresponding explanation in both the scientific name and the common name in the Mindo area. We'll also do a demonstration of how to recognize the Andean Choco forest and the creation of organic matter as food for the fauna, something that you definitely shouldn't miss.
