At Cacao Huasi, our Wine & Chocolate Pairing is a relaxed guided tasting designed to help you notice flavour in a deeper way. We pair three carefully selected wines with tree-to-bar chocolate, cacao drinks, and cacao beans from different fermentations and processing styles.
The experience begins at **4:30 pm**, perfectly timed to enjoy the sunset over the Caribbean from our ocean-view deck. As the light changes across the bay, you'll discover how slowing down and paying attention can transform the way you experience both wine and chocolate.
This is not a formal wine class. It is warm, curious, and delicious—a space to explore how chocolate changes with fruit, acidity, tannins, sweetness, spice, and texture.
As we taste together, you'll begin to notice how wine can completely transform chocolate, bringing forward hidden notes of berries, flowers, citrus, caramel, roasted nuts, earth, tropical fruit, or spice. Some pairings feel bright and lively. Others become deep, rich, and slow. There is no "correct" palate here—just curiosity, conversation, and pleasure.
