Discover Ushuaia from a different perspective, where adventure, nature, and wildlife combine in an active and authentic experience. This tour was designed for those who want to explore Tierra del Fuego's environment responsibly, connecting with the region's iconic animals and traveling through unique landscapes.
The day begins with transport from Ushuaia to a natural setting of forests and valleys in Tierra del Fuego. There, we take a guided quad bike ride, an experience shared by all passengers, which allows us to enter the landscape in a dynamic and safe way. During the tour, the tour guide introduces the Fuegian ecosystem, its geography, its climate, and the importance of conserving this unique environment.
After this first stage of exploration by ATV, each traveler chooses the type of wildlife encounter they want to experience, based on their interests and availability.
One of the options is a guided trek with Siberian dogs, where you learn about the mushing culture in Ushuaia and interact closely and respectfully with the animals, enjoying the Fuegian forest in a calm and emotional way.
Another alternative is an interpretive walk to observe beavers in an active beaver den. Accompanied by a tour guide, you'll explore their natural habitat and learn about the impact of this species on the Fuegian ecosystem in an educational and mindful experience.
The third option invites you to travel along the Fuegian coast to Puerto Almanza and go penguin watching on Martillo Island (Penguin Island) via a short boat trip. This experience combines marine wildlife, coastal scenery, and contact with an authentic fishing village, far from the traditional tourist routes.
At the end of the chosen activity, we head back to Ushuaia with the feeling of having had a flexible and intimate experience, where the quad bike is the means to explore the environment and the wildlife is the real star.
