Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Drive to Volcanoes National Park

Get picked up from your hotel or the airport in Kigali by your driver-guide. Go on a city tour and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Kimironko local market. Have lunch before driving to Volcanoes National Park. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Mountain Gorillas Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, get picked up from your lodge and drive to the park headquarters. Receive a briefing on how to behave around mountain gorillas. Then, proceed to trek gorillas. After the remarkable experience with the gorillas, return to your lodge for a hot lunch.

Afterward, visit the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo with your driver-guide. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Golden Monkeys Trekking and Drive Back to Kigali

Early in the morning, get picked up at your lodge and head to the park office for a briefing on how to behave around golden monkeys. Trek to see the monkeys in their natural habitat, enjoying them and taking as many pictures as you want.

After the golden monkey experience, drive back to Kigali. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch before getting dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your flight.
