상품 설명

In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation. We will set off for Mokra Gora village, acclaimed as “The Best Tourism Village in the World” by the World Tourism Organization.

After approximately 45 minutes of driving, we will reach our first stop – Vitasi station, where we will board the Shargan Eight train. This historic railway once formed part of the route connecting Belgrade to Dubrovnik on the Adriatic coast via Sarajevo. Passengers traversed the rugged Balkan landscapes aboard these vintage carriages, immersing themselves in the natural splendor of the region. While the railway was eventually overshadowed by modernization, a 15km stretch of the line has been meticulously restored and is now one of Serbia's premier tourist attractions. During our 1.5-hour ride, prepare to be transported back in time as we marvel at the pristine beauty of Shargan and Tara National Park, soaking in the unspoiled wilderness and rich history of the region.

After the train ride, we will visit Wooden Town (Drvengrad) village. This complex represents a proper small town, with all the amenities one town needs, yet it feels as if it has stood here for centuries – though it was built in the last 20 years! Drvengrad showcases the traditional architecture of Western Serbia and serves as a gathering place for artists and guests from around the world, especially during the Kustendorf film and music festival in January.

From here, we continue our journey towards the majestic slopes of Tara mountain. Renowned as one of Serbia's five national parks, Tara is celebrated for its untamed wilderness, offering a glimpse into nature's unspoiled beauty. The landscape is largely untouched, with lush evergreen forests providing sanctuary to a diverse array of wildlife. Tara's biodiversity is remarkable, with brown bears among its most famous inhabitants – and with some luck, we might catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Our exploration of Tara continues with visits to the Zmajevac viewpoint, Zaovine and Spajići lakes, and the famous Banjska Stena viewpoint. We'll also see Pančićeva Omorika, a unique type of spruce found only on Tara mountain. After visiting Mitrovac village, we descend to Perućac Lake and the Drina River. Along the way, we will stop at Vrelo River – a 365-meter-long stream, one meter for every day of the year.

Finally, we will arrive at the world-famous House on the Rock, situated in the middle of the Drina River. Its striking photo was even featured as Photo of the Month in National Geographic, bringing fame to this unique landmark.

As our journey comes to an end, we will take you back to your accommodation.
