Visit the mountains to the Volcano viewpoint + breakfast｜Réunion

Departure from the hotel towards the Piton de la Fournaise massif: We will start our day by leaving the hotel to go to the Piton de la Fournaise massif, renowned as one of the most active volcanoes on the planet. This excursion will allow us to explore the unique volcanic landscapes of the region.

Ascent of La Plaine Des Cafres: We will undertake an ascent through La Plaine Des Cafres, a market gardening area and a livestock plateau, in order to discover the different volcanic landscapes of the region. This part of our route will offer us a striking panoramic view of the surrounding area.

Stop at Nez De Boeuf (2070 m): We will stop at Nez De Boeuf, located at an altitude of 2070 meters, offering a panoramic view of a forming cirque, notably the Riviere Des Remparts and the Roche Plate islet. This stop will allow us to admire the natural beauty of the region. We will take the opportunity to have a coffee, a juice and pastries.

Crossing La Plaine Des Sables: We will continue our journey crossing La Plaine Des Sables, a grandiose lunar landscape, offering unique perspectives on the volcanic landscape of the island.

Arrival at Pas De Bellecombe: Our route will then take us to Pas De Bellecombe, located at an altitude of 2,311 meters. From this privileged location, we will have a breathtaking view of the majesty of Piton de la Fournaise, which stands in the middle of the Fouquet enclosure, offering an unforgettable experience.

Stop at Commerson Crater: We will also make a stop at Commerson Crater, a fascinating volcanic chasm that is sure to impress us with its natural beauty and grandeur.

Traditional lunch and discovery of local products: To end our day in style, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional lunch (not included) and discover local products, thus enriching our culinary and cultural experience of the region.

Stop at the Grand Bassin viewpoint: We will make a stop at the Grand Bassin viewpoint, where we can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding area, providing a perfect opportunity to take memorable photos and admire the natural beauty of the region.
