상품 설명

After our meeting and a short briefing, we will begin our pleasant walk. We will follow a forest trail for half an hour before arriving at the ridge and the first vantage point overlooking the mysterious cirque of Mafate, a former refuge for the Maroons, runaway slaves. Even today, its 13 villages are only accessible on foot or by helicopter. We will climb the ridge of the western wall of Mafate towards the summit of Maïdo. At a paragliding take-off area, we will take a short break before continuing our ascent.

Snack: black coffee + croissant provided. (If you need anything else, please bring it with you). Once we reach the Roche Plate trail, one of the 5 accesses to Mafate, we will begin our descent to the start point along a small trail to complete our loop.

Gear: good hiking boots, possibly walking sticks, sun, rain and cold protection, at least 1 liter of water. Snacks, if necessary.
The live guide speaks French, English, German, and Spanish. If the group is made up of people speaking different languages, the group explanations will be in English by default. But for individual explanations, the live guide will be able to provide them in all 4 languages.
